Corrective Exercise

We’ve all got our knocks and niggles and some of us have had some serious injuries. Its vital that these ailments are managed and looked after properly otherwise they will only get worse and hinder your performance, ability to exercise effectively and even struggle with day to day activities.

Injury rehabilitation is for anyone who has suffered an injury and is at the stage of getting back into physical exercise (I stress that you seek medical advice and clearance to start exercising before seeking our professional help in this area).

The body is an amazing machine and when you suffer an injury your body will “seek the path of least resistance”. As a result of this muscles will begin to over compensate or even switch off all together to relive pain of protect an area of weakness. These are called muscle imbalances. Corrective exercise strives to, as it says on the tin, correct these imbalances before they develop into a chronic issue.
